A.J’s of the Week

I literally almost forgot to do this because its been a very hectic (but fun weekend!) Shout out to my church for hosting an amazing weekend just for women at our annual women’s conference. I’m exhausted, but I had a blast!

Anyways, let the jams commence!

  1. To be honest I’m  trying to figure out when to spend time with God right now because my schedule has significantly changed. I now have to start getting ready between 5:30-5:45 am. Right. I’m not a morning person and personally, I think God would prefer me to be alert when I’m talking to Him. I’ll figure it out, but anyways there’s this devotional app that is perfect for every day life. It’s called First5 and it offers a short (but very impactful) devotional every day. You can even schedule it with your alarm so you can grab it first thing in the morning. You can download it from the app store, its a genius idea.Image result for first five app
  2. If there’s a book that I really need to soak in, its Uninvited by Lysa Tyrkeurst. I honestly struggle with relating to people and social anxiety (I should write on this one day, lol) due to insecurity, fear of rejection, etc. This book has some amazing truths that opened my eyes to some of my wrong thinking. I need to read it again, and I’m absolutely positive that this book could definitely be used to set you free. Image result for uninvited book3. This is totally random, but I have acne prone skin and this particular product has helped it immensely. Its African Black Soap. Super simple, but super effective. It just helps keep my skin pretty clear and my hormonal acne clears up fast if I do break out. I still struggle with acne scars so if anyone has any suggestions for that…let me know!

Have a great week!
